Summer Camp Update – June 4, 2020
We are pleased to inform you that we will be moving forward with our summer camp. Governor Cuomo has given the green light for summer camps beginning June 29th and it is our intention to offer camp from June 29th through July 31st, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Our number one goal will be to maintain the health and safety of our campers and staff within the context of fun and engaging activities. In order to do this, we are consulting with an Infectious Disease specialist, studying the summer camp guidelines set forth by the CDC and reaching out to other schools and organizations that are moving forward with summer camp for ideas on best practices.
Space is limited — we will only be accepting 8 children for each week of camp — so please register soon.
We are accepting Registration Forms only at this time. Payment will be collected at a later date. Thank you for your interest in summer camp at Mountain Laurel Waldorf School!
Summer Camp 2020 Online Registration is now Open!
Thank you for your interest in Summer Camp 2020 at Mountain Laurel Waldorf School! Up to five full weeks of fun and adventure await your child and we are super-excited to be offering you more choices than ever before.
Each week of camp is led by one of our very own experienced, enthusiastic and delightful Waldorf teachers, including: Ruth Lawson and Takken Wish. Each is excited to be able to spend some time during the summer with your children!
In an effort to follow the CDC recommendations regarding summer camps we are limiting each week to one group of eight children, ages 3 to 9. Our experienced instructors will be prepared to engage your children within this group.
