Summer Camp 2020 Online Registration is now Open!

Thank you for your interest in Summer Camp 2020 at Mountain Laurel Waldorf School! Up to seven full weeks of fun and adventure await your child and we are super-excited to be offering you more choices than ever before.

Each week of camp is led by one of our very own experienced, enthusiastic and delightful Waldorf teachers, including: Brandon Kohn, Zoe Supina, Ruth Lawson, Takken Wish and Tricia McCloskey. Each is excited to be able to spend some time during the summer with your children!

Camp Caterpillar

3 – 7 year olds

Camp Caterpillar will offer an enriching and nurturing environment for your little one. Our beloved Waldorf-trained lead instructors for this camp will bring wonder and adventure through indoor and outdoor play, seasonal crafts, song, storytelling and water play. Rhythm and reverence will follow your child throughout the day. Fun and laughter, old friends and new — this camp will leave your child feeling fulfilled and supported.

Camp Caterpillar offers a half day or full day option. A healthy, mid-morning snack is provided for both options. Full day option requires campers bring a packed lunch from home.

One-week sessions, Monday through Friday (Wednesdays Only Option Available)
Half Day: 9:00 am – noon ($175/week)
Full Day: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm ($350/week)
Wednesdays Only Option ($70/day)

Camp Coyote

8 – 12 year olds

Camp Coyote includes a wide variety of activities designed to engage the interest and enthusiasm of the campers. Activities related to a weekly theme build out each day for these older campers. Incorporated into the daily rhythm is not only water play, free play and nature experiences but also instructor-led skill-based activities geared toward engaging your child in new experiences.

A healthy, mid-morning snack is provided to your child. Campers are asked to bring a packed lunch from home.

Full Day: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm ($350/week)
Wednesdays Only Option ($70/day)

(Theme: games: basketball, wiffle ball, dodge ball, etc.)
Session 2: June 22 – June 26
(Theme: puppetry)
Session 3: June 29 – July 3
(Theme: wood-shop building skills)
Session 4: July 6 – July 10
(Theme: survivor skills)
Session 5: July 13 – July 17
(Theme: art in nature)
Session 6: July 20 – July 24
(Theme TBD)
Session 7: July 27 – July 31
(Theme: book-binding, crafting pop-up cards & nature writing)

Transportation

Parents are responsible for transportation to and from camp.

Lunch

Chidren bring their own lunches. A nutritious snack is provided at mid-morning

Sibling Discount

If you choose to enroll more than one of your children into any of our camps, each additional sibling receives a tuition discount as follows: 5% for the second child, 10% for three or more children.

Refund Policy

Full refund will be available if cancellations occur prior to March 13, 2020. A 50% refund of tuition costs will be available prior to April 17, 2020. Tuition is non-refundable after April 17, 2020.
